Nose Piercing Done With a Needle

I’ve had my nose done 4 times in total now, 3 with a gun and once with a needle.

The problem with getting a nose stud is that I couldn’t get a ring in and it also kept falling out in my sleep 🙁

My mum agreed to let me have it done with a needle so I went along to Nel’s body piercing studio in West Bromwich after previously getting my septum and a few other piercings there. I was first recommended it by a friend who had been before and told me of the excellent service she received, so me and my boyfriend went right after our last exam! 😉

Nel was really nice as always, he made sure that I liked where it would be and that I was sure I wanted it done, he also told me that it’s painful so I could make sure that I was up for it. He also made us feel at ease by joking about our uniforms. Also the studio was very nice, clean and sterile which is always important

Nel is the only piercer there which is reassuring as it’s always a familiar face after you’ve been once 😉 After going there I will definitely now be going every time I get a piercing as it’s good quality and none of my piercings have gone wrong there.

First he drew a dot and made sure I liked where it was and then he clamped my nose and put the needle in, I started to cry and he kept checking I was okay he then cut the tube that’s attached to the needle and got me some tissue.

He hooked the ring into the tube and pulled it through and then attached the ball he made sure I was okay and I liked it I then paid. As I’d told him that I’d already had it done and I had an information sheet he told me the simple aftercare information and said I should go and eat something sugary as I was shaking.

I went home and after knocking it a few times it came loose from the dry blood which allowed me to clean it and twist it without it hurting as much.

People don’t like to hear this but this piercing really did hurt and it’s the worst one I’ve had and I’ve had a few including my septum. I would recommend getting this piercing with a gun and changing it to a ring if you can however I did turn out in a bloody mess when I tried to put a ring in.

Previously my nose piercings have took about 5 weeks to heal and I’ve brought my jewelry from Oasis in Birmingham but would like to try out new retailers! I hope you enjoyed my story and it’s gave you an insight into a nose needle piercing when done with a ring! 😉
